55 Fiction Challenge – Life with My Sister.

We fought. We cried.
Mom had a tough time Indeed.
Swords were drawn,
Looking for silly reasons to quarrel.
I loved to fight.
I hated when she was right.
I could never hate and love someone
 Almost equally.
But, when there was only one Ice cream,
We would always sit together
And share it happily!

  1. That was just beautiful. 🙂 So sweet and touching. As Saru had said above, I also always wanted a sister to play with. Your poem made me smile and was nice and soothing to the heart. 🙂

  2. Very simple and cute 55er. The words are as though they are said by a kiddo.

  3. So true….
It's an awesum post Ashwini ( as expected 🙂 ).

I used to always fight with my younger sister when we were kids. Later I moved to different city and then I realised how much I miss her.
She was and is my best friend.

    P.S. She got engaged 3 days back 🙂 🙂
