Woes of a Foodie!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I’m never successful in my attempts to lose weight.

Because mom knows when I’m full and when I’m really full and when I can still manage to eat Poori and Kesari. πŸ™‚

  2. Haha…short and sweet! I am a hostler for four straight years now and I do visit fitness centers every now and then to keep my body in good shape. But when i go home in sem leave, i just cannot resist the extra chunk of fat building around at wrong places. The moment i smell of home made aaloo paratha, it becomes impossible to resist eating just a handful of them. πŸ™‚
Saying all this, I can never get tired of eating my mom's cooking. She is the best!

  3. Hahaahah……same problem everywhere…:P three girls sit in a row at work….and always our woes are about food…there are interesting brownies and cakes all the time and it is so hard to control…:)

  4. Food is always very tempting. For me it is enough to just think of my mom, and the way she used to make Kesari whenever she did Satya Narayan Puja, which was I think once every 15 days, is enough for me to make Kesari.
It is a pity my mom passed away years ago.
The north Indian Puri with Halwa/ Sheera is the best combination and they would also give a dry channa dish along with it. It used taste superb.

  5. Rama, this was during the Satya Narayana Pooja. Same here πŸ™‚

Sorry about your mom! But we are lucky to have tasted such delicious food prepared by our moms πŸ™‚
